ABOUT ELIZABETH GODDARD
My entire professional life has been immersed in the visual arts. After earning an MA in Art Education, I began my career in arts education, which led to leadership roles including Director of Expressive Arts and Education, and later, Curator at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, MI.
More recently, I served a decade as the Executive Director and Curator of a contemporary art museum in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Across these roles, I’ve had the privilege of serving thousands of individuals—from students to artists to community members. Through it all, one truth remains clear:
Creativity is transformative.
